dear ermf: MERCEDES?!??! i dont even know you anymore.

dear mikalati: indeed i wish i could take credit for kristas thought that i am capable of writing metaphorical, beautiful, and insightful blog entries worthy of deeper thought. we all know this is far from the truth! in fact, i was at the airport watching CNN announce the sears tower name change, and shortly after boarded my plane. after taking off the flight attendant came around with mini muffins! i thought, cool! blueberry minimuffins! how wonderfully delicious. as i ate my muffin i was thinking about the name change, and how places like the pearl tower and namsan tower would have to redo their windows that show large buildings in all different directions. and then i looked at my muffin and thought, why are these blueberries so small. and brown. i kept eating. then a blueberry fell on my lap! i picked it up, examined it, and thought, "why does this blueberry muffin have chocolate chips in it? cool!"

dear kristas: hello and hello! i hope the bun in the oven is cooking well!! :D

I just read an opinion piece about the renaming. I should have known that the content of your post would have something completely unrelated. And by the way, in the future, please don't leave your blueberry muffins out for months on end before eating them. Those aren't chocolate chips. They're just really old blueberries.

I thought this was a funny story about not paying attention while eating a muffin. So I showed it to my wife. And she told me that it was not such a story and I should start reading the New York Times so I would know what you are talking about, as from the clue in the title of this post.

I am glad to have married someone who can explain your posts to me.
