clarity. clarity is what ive been seeking this past week. for
me, that means extra long runs on the beach, not signing online and
avoiding all contact with those affiliated with ligersRus.
🙂 and as im writing this, sir mix-alot is playing at full blast with
three little kids running around screaming with the dog. clarity.
yet in my search for some answers for the future, GOD surprised me
with
something i didnt expect. a church. i finally found a
church. a church that i think is actually pretty amazing…and where i
can actually see myself building a community, serving, and
learning more about this awesome GOD who was has captured my
soul. and that guy next to me was pretty good looking. ahem. i
mean…woah! who said that?! moving on…
the surprises continue. an amazing weekend in longbeach, with kassy
the blond
haired hot mama, and alicia, the korean mormon, whom i might add, is
also quite the hot mama. we've been friends for 10 years now…since
the good ol' days of wandering the halls of meadow park
middle school, still trying to figure out where we belonged, who we
wanted to be friends with, and what the heck that scallywag australian
mr. filer was saying in pre-algebra. what holds friendships together? i
dont believe that length of time determines a friendship. its more the
depth of honesty reached, and the amount
to which we're willing to bare our souls, and most importantly, how
much you make me laugh. that night, me and alicia stayed up all
night talking about our faiths in brutal, beautiful honesty. i feel like it was the first time we had ever talked. really
talked. and it was amazing.
i continue to pray for direction. but im pretty sure GOD is asking me to take a step in
faith, and trust that HE will bless whatever i choose. im
pretending that i dont hear HIM so that i can delay actually making a
choice, but i dont think he'll let me do that for much longer.
